Make a Submission to the
2025 Pilgrim Artists Festival
For our 8th Pilgrim Artists Festival this 5-14 September 2025, we are seeking submissions reflecting on the theme: Remember
We accept entries from Christian artists worldwide, of all ages. Your entry need not be explicitly religious but should engage meaningfully with the theme.
You'll find prize information below and the full details you need in the submission forms (click through to 'Guidelines for Submission').

Please note this year's dates:
If you are 18 or older, submit by midnight at the end of Saturday, 2 August and your submission is free. Or you can submit with a fee of $10 extra per week up to midnight at the end of Wednesday, 27 August.
If you are under 18, your submissions are always free. Youth submissions are due by midnight at the end of Wednesday, 27 August.
We cannot accept any submissions after 27 August.

Prize Information
Literary Prizes
The 2025 Literary prizes for adults (18+) are:
• The $250 W.R. Gingell Prize for Fiction, with $100 Wandering Bookseller voucher
• The $250 Christina Baehr Prize for Non-fiction, with $100 Wandering Bookseller voucher
• The $250 Wandering Bookseller Prize for Poetry, with $100 Wandering Bookseller voucher
In addition, university students and recent graduates (graduated in the last three years) are also eligible for:
• The $75 Award for Fiction by University Students and Recent Graduates
• The $75 Award for Non-fiction by University Students and Recent Graduates
• The $75 Award for Poetry by University Students and Recent Graduates
Prizes this year for teens (13-17) are:
• The $60 Dreamer's Prize for Teen Poetry
• The $60 Married by Josh Prize for Teen Non-fiction
• The $60 Married by Josh Prize for Teen Fiction
Prizes this year for children (12 and under) are:
• The $25 Suzannah Rowntree Prize for Child Poetry
• The $25 Suzannah Rowntree Prize for Child Non-fiction
• The $25 Suzannah Rowntree Prize for Child Fiction
Exhibition Prizes
Prizes this year for adults (18+) are:
• The Pilgrim Hill Acquisitive Award
• The $1000 Mandala People’s Choice Award, for the winner of the popular vote
• The Orchard's Nest People's Choice Award, one night at the boutique Huon Valley accomodation for the runner-up
• The $600 Lili Baehr Joie de Vivre Prize, celebrating joy in art and music
• The $250 Eco Shack Photography Award
• The $250 Daffodil Road Yarn and Valley Seamstress Handicraft Award
• The $250 The Aurora Chasers Handbook Landscape Award
• The $250 Kingsley Downs Prize for Classical Realism
For youth (under 18), prizes are:
• The $200 Mandala People’s Choice Award for Youth
